The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology is a unit within the Institute of Odontology. It is one of six institutions that constitute the Sahlgrenska Academy within University of Gothenburg. The Clinic of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology is a unit within the Göteborg Public Dental Service.The Department is responsible for undergraduate, education of dental students and dental hygienists and postgraduate education and research, while the Clinic is responsible for radiographic examinations and clinically oriented postgraduate education for dentists and auxiliary personnel. Most staff members hold joint positions in the Department and the Clinic.
